Supporting local families in need

Lockdown in rural South Africa due to COVID-19 worldwide pandemic have had negative impact on many local households, particularly on single mothers households and orphants homes. Food insecurities and impoverishment has been rising from loss of income, contributing to malnutrition. Lack of social services, restricted movement and avoidance of social interaction for fear of the virus all played part in creating distress, effecting mental health and worsening the already existant substance abuse.

We felt it is our responsibility to step in at this time and support and empower the local community members in need as much as we can. We donated food packages to 13 households within our community,  including 2 orphant homes.

Mr. Motha recieved warm clothes for the winter months.

“Each life matter, we are all one!”  Seeing the gratitude, appreciation and hope in peoples eyes bring joy to our hearts  and desire to help more.
